All The Goodness is a Coffee and Bakeshop based in Ardelve in the Scottish Highlands. Our focus is on making great coffee and delicious cakes and bakes with high quality ingredients. Our bakes menu changes daily - you can see some sample menus here.
There is no seating inside the shop but we have two window coffee bars, and bench seating on the embankment where you can relax and enjoy the views. Dogs are most welcome to join you on your visit.
We pride ourselves in expertly made coffee using single origin, organic and fairtrade beans. If coffee isn’t your thing we offer real flaked hot chocolate made by craft Scottish chocolatiers in a range of flavours, and award winning whole leaf tea.
For those rare, hot Highland days we have a range of iced drinks and smoothies - all made to our own recipes. We’ve been using plant-based packaging since 2008. Our coffee cups, lids and boxes are from Vegware.
We specialise in sweet things! In our bakeshop kitchen we develop unique recipes, creating contemporary twists on traditional Scottish baking.
Everything is made from scratch in small batches using time-honoured methods and high quality, natural ingredients. We love creating new bakes using Scottish & Highland produce. As well as careful sourcing we grow a few special ingredients. In addition to traditional bakes, there will most likely be something you have never tried before.
We make fresh fruit galettes and custard pastries on a Friday. On a Saturday and Sunday we make Sticky Buns. If you come early enough they will still be warm from the oven!
All The Goodness is owned and run by husband and wife team, Mark & Lorraine.
In 2008 and inspired by a love for fresh, flavoursome home baking and great coffee, we bought a small mobile catering trailer with a dream to move to the Scottish Highlands. The following year we were offered a contract in a beautiful country park in Cheshire, and loved it so much we ended up staying for six years.
In February 2014, we found the perfect premises - an empty shop overlooking Eilean Donan Castle. In October that year we packed our belongings and spent the following six months transforming the building into a fresh space with its own bakeshop kitchen.
Over fifteen years later, now based in the Scottish Highlands, our mission is still the same and we continue to run the business in alignment with our values. Our aim is for the shop to be a fun, welcoming space and a sanctuary of delicious goodies where new food memories are created. We believe in keeping things simple enough to enable an unwavering focus on quality and an attention to detail.
Mark previously worked in media and online marketing. With a passion for good food and coffee, he is the ATG barista and baker of many of our cult favourites. Pragmatic and steadfast, he is the grounding force of the business. He loves to be outdoors and his green fingers ensure that we have beautiful flower displays in summer. A keen biker, Mark runs a motorbike insurance comparison site www.bikerinsure.co.uk
Lorraine’s background is in art and design. She loves the creative aspect of baking, gets excited about developing new recipes, and is obsessed with hand-painted signage. You will find her art on the walls of our shop. Lorraine has an online practice as an integrative hypnotherapist and Internal Family Systems (IFS) practitioner. www.lorrainetolmie.com
